Anatomy of the Job Page - Part 3 (Products and Summary)
Services, Materials, and Products are all created in the Settings>Stock area.
If added to the job before the work is carried out, then Materials and Products appear on the mobile for the operator to enter a quantity against. If not then the operator can still add a product manually. Any estimated value will also show on the mobile.
Note that Services, Materials and Products can be set to unbilled, so usage data can be collected without appearing on the invoice.
1- Services and Materials
Services tend to be items that are charged at a set rate for the job, rather than tasks, which are charged by task size. They can also be non-physical items e.g., Weighbridge hire
2- Products
Products can be bought or sold; products bought will show as a negative $ on the invoice If a product location is set, then when the job is invoiced, the stock levels will be adjusted for that product.
3- Job Summary
The Job can be previewed at the bottom of the screen. There are four options
1. Job Review. This is a general-purpose overview showing the tasks and products/Materials/Services on the task. It also includes a line per task for any loads entered against cartage tasks
2. Quote. This shows the estimates only
3. Billing Preview. This shows what will appear on the invoice when it is put through, so it only includes billed lines. The invoice-settings page has options for setting up the layout of the invoice, including the order of blocks and whether duplicate lines combine for invoicing
4. Job Review Physicals. Shows the physicals collected, without charging information.
All reports have options to add additional data
1. Job card details. This includes the variable (job template-dependent) job details. They only appear on the printed version - not on the screen.
2. Comments.
3. Invoice notes. This is selected by default, and also only appears on the printed version
4. Activity log summary. Gives a summary of mobile activity log events.
